(NCRA, Tuesday 17 November 2020) The National Civil Registration Authority (NCRA) in collaboration with the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development (MLGRD) with support from the Ministry of Finance has conducted a day training on the processes and procedures of conducting verification exercise of Chiefdom Functionaries to regional and district staff across the 16 districts of Sierra Leone.
This training is preparation of the commencement of the biometric verification of chiefdom functionaries in all the 190 chiefdoms across the country.
The verification exercise starts tomorrow, 18th November,2020.
It should be noted that this cascaded training is to capacitate district and regional staff on the ways and means of conducting a biometric verification exercise which will enable them to perform effectively and efficiently, holding professionalism as the bench mark in conducting themselves during the course of this verification exercise.
The training was provided by both the headquarters staff of NCRA and MLGRD who had been trained a day before at the NCRA Headquarters in Freetown.
This cascaded training was conducted at the 16 district offices of the NCRA across the country.
