JOB ADVERTS AND TERMS OF REFERENCE FOR EXHIBITION CENTRE STAFF


The National Civil Registration Authority (NCRA) established by an Act of Parliament in 2016 (NCR Act 2016) with the mandate (Section 14 of the NCR Act 2016) to develop and maintain develop and maintain an accurate electronic database of the population of Sierra Leone; issue National Identification Numbers to every citizen and resident in Sierra Leone; provide accurate information about civil status events such as births, adoptions, marriages, divorces, nullities and deaths; provide accurate information about the demographic distribution throughout Sierra Leone, the rate of social change and civil status trends; etc.

In compliance with the legal provisions and international best practice, the Authority seeks to accord Registrants’ the opportunity to confirm their personal details captured so far and to register those who have not been registered. Currently, the Authority has in its Biometric National Identification Management Database 75% of the population of Sierra Leone and wishes to have the remaining 25% in order to have a credible and updated Permanent Civil Register as established by Law.

To carry out its mandate, the NCRA requests applications from suitably qualified Sierra Leoneans for Contract Appointments to undertake the Confirmation of Registrants’ Personal Details as well as Registration of persons that have not registered with the Authority.

Applicants are encouraged to download, fill and submit their Application Forms to the Director of Human Resource and Administration, through the District Registration Officer at the respective NCRA District Offices in Kailahun, Kenema, Kono, Bombali, Falaba, Koinadugu, Tonkolili, Kambia, Karene, Port Loko, Bo, Bonthe Mainland, Bonthe Island, Moyamba, Pujehun, Western Area Rural and Western Area Urban.

Applicants are encouraged to apply in their various Districts of residence. Females and the Physically Challenged persons are strongly encouraged to apply.
